Starring Lucille Ball as...

On this the 100th birthday of legendary funny lady Lucille Ball, I posed the question on Twitter "Which Shakespearean role could she have played?"

You tell me.  Make your case!

She could completely play Anne Hathaway (who died on this day in 1623) in a biographical film about Shakespeare. It would explain the missing years and the life in London.

"You wrote one sonnet to me and twenty-nine to another woman? Waaaaaaaah!"

I could see her as Kate in Taming of the Shrew, but I'd rather she her take on Lady Macbeth. Her characters were often scheming with layers of plans going on their heads. She'd be perfect.

That's "see her," not "she her." And that should be "plans going on IN their heads." I should proofread, but I've got a couple of kids yelling for me to take them mini golfing.
